Article Snippet: GFP-labeled mouse ESC (LB10; GSC-5003) were obtained from MTI-Global Stem. hESC were propagated in six-well plates on an irradiated mouse embryonic fibroblast feeder layer in a medium containing Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium:F12 (DMEM:F12; Hyclone), 15% KnockOut Serum Replacement (Invitrogen), 10 ng/mL recombinant human bFGF (R&D Systems), supplemented with nonessential amino acids, l -glutamine, and 0.1 mM 2-mercaptoethanol.
